¡Nuestro primer episodio en inglés! Nos sentimos muy entusiasmadas con esta nueva aventura y esperamos que les resulte interesante.
Familias en la literatura. Un tema amplio y complejo. En el episodio en inglés hemos tratado de mezclar el enfoque de las 2 partes que emitimos semanas anteriores en español y decidimos incluir tanto familias casi felices como familias infelices.
Para representar a ese primer grupo, familias casi felices, hablamos de «Mi familia y otros animales» de Gerald Durrell. Y sobre las familias infelices tenemos «The Sound and the Fury» de William Faulkner y «Little Fires Everywhere» de Celeste Ng.
Al igual que en nuestros episodios en castellano y euskera podemos contar con la recomendación de la Biblioteca de Errenteria gracias a Marcos Tantos Arriaga, auxiliar de la Biblioteca, que nos trae dos libros más que vale la pena leer.

Our first episode in English! We feel quite excited about this new adventure and we certainly hope you’ll find it interesting.
Families in literature. A broad and complex topic. In the English episode we have tried to mix the approach of the 2 parts we emitted previous weeks in Spanish and we decided to include both almost-happy families and unhappy families.
To represent that first group, almost-happy families we talk about Gerald Durrell’s “My Family and Other Animals”. And about unhappy families we have William Faulkner’s “The Sound and the Fury” and Celeste Ng’s “Little Fires Everywhere”.
Same as in our episodes in Spanish and Basque we can count on the recommendation from the Errenteria Library thanks to Marcos Tantos Arriaga, Errenteria Library Assistant who brings us two more books worth reading.
